Meet the Staff at Restore Dental Arts

Sue- Practice Manager, RDH

Sue has been with Restore Dental Arts for over thirty years.  She transitioned from full time hygiene to practice management as the practice has grown. She cherishes the relationships she has built with patients over the years and enjoys visiting with them when they come in.  Sue enjoys sharing her professional experience and mentoring her coworkers.

Sue and her husband have raised three children here in Michigan City and continue to enjoy all the benefits of living near Lake Michigan. She loves to travel, read and bike.

Jaclyn – Marketing Manager

Jaclyn is a graduate of University of Indianapolis. She began working in the dental industry in 2013 and joined Restore Dental Arts in 2016. Jaclyn enjoys the creative endeavors involved with directing our digital and print campaigns, as well as the relationships she’s formed within our community through organizing our outreach programs.

When she is away from the office Jaclyn enjoys running, hiking and true crime documentaries. Her favorite way to spend time is with her husband and children.

Julie – Dental Hygienist, RDH

As one of Restore Dental Arts’s dental hygienists, Julie is here to provide great dental care and help you develop good oral habits that will keep your smile looking fabulous. Julie has been with us for over twenty years and has built long term relationships with many of our patients and watched their families grow.

Julie is a native of Michigan City and received her education from Indiana University South Bend. In her free time Julie likes attending her children’s sporting events.

Mandi – Lead Dental Hygienist, RDH

Mandi is a graduate of IUSB and brought over 20 years of clinical experience when she joined us in 2017. As the hygiene lead, Mandi looks for new and exciting educational opportunities for the hygiene team and helps to implement new technology and protocols to ensure each patient receives the same level of excellent care,no matter which team member they see at RDA. Mandi loves the relationships she gets to build with patients over the years,and takes their trust to care for them very seriously. When she’s not at RDA, she enjoys traveling with her family, going to concerts, and spending time with their family dogs.

Catrina – Dental Hygienist, RDH

Catrina graduated from Indiana University Northwest. She started her career in dental hygiene at Coolspring Dental Clinic in 2006. Restore Dental Arts welcomed her to our team in 2015.

Catrina takes pride in being a skilled professional and enjoys the continuous education culture at Restore Dental Arts. She is concerned with patients oral health and the effects it has on their overall health. Catrina shares her wealth of knowledge with patients to help them keep their smiles healthy.

Away from the office, Catrina enjoys watching the South Bend Cubs, and attending musicals at the Morris Theatre. She also likes to spend time with her family and friends enjoying our beautiful Lake Michigan beach.

Holly – Dental Hygienist, RDH

Holly graduated from Indiana University South Bend and started her career at Coolspring Dental Clinic. She brought over 30 years of experience to the Restore Dental Arts team in 2015.

Holly takes great pride in being a gentle hygienist and helping patients achieve good dental health. She believes this coincides with optimal overall health.

Holly enjoys physical fitness, walks on the beach, travel and spending time with family and friends.

Julie – Dental Assistant

Julie has worked with Restore Dental Arts since 2007 and loves working together as a team with other staff members in our office. Julie excels at helping patients feel at ease during their dental appointments. She enjoys spending time with our patients and making their treatment a smooth and positive experience.

When Julie has some free time, you will find her playing with her grandchildren.

Emily – Insurance and Accounting Manager

Emily holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and a Master’s degree from the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg. She joined the Restore Dental Arts team as our Insurance Coordinator in November 2019. Emily sees it as her personal mission to help our patients receive the fullest possible benefit from their dental insurance, and is always eager to advocate on behalf of our patients with their dental insurance carriers to get payment on denied or underpaid claims.

Emily spends most of her free time with her husband and their two school-aged daughters, and enjoys crafting, baking, puzzles, driving and singing in her church choir.

Ashley – Dental Assistant

Ashley has been in the dental field since 2012. She has achieved Expanded Dental Assisting certification and is also a licensed phlebotomist. Ashley enjoys assisting with her patients and providing a positive experience during their visits.

Ashley spends her free time with her family enjoying the outdoors.

Sandi – Dental Assistant

Sandi joined Restore Dental Arts in 2018. She has been an integral part of our team as an Expanded Function Dental Assistant for 14 years. Sandi brings a lot of joy to her role in assisting our patients through comfort listening and understanding.

Sandi enjoys spending time with her family cooking and gardening.

Katie – Treatment Coordinator

Katie began working in specialty dentistry in 2020, and is thrilled to now be working at Restore Dental Arts. She loves getting to know our patients, and looks forward to forming long-lasting relationships with them.

Katie graduated with two music degrees; when she is not working in the office, she can be found teaching private voice lessons. In her free time, Katie enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching movies, doing yoga, and singing at her church.

Megan – Dental Hygienist

Megan graduated from IUSB with a Bachelor’s degree in science in 2015 and has worked as a Registered Dental Hygienist ever since.   She lives in Michigan City with her English Mastiff.  Megan is crafty and adventurous and enjoys reading, biking and exploring new places.

Imari – Dental Assistant

Imari found the dental field in 2022 and has truly enjoyed how much of a difference she can make in the lives of our patients.  She enjoys helping people gain confidence in themselves and being able to build relationships and trust, while assisting people with the care they need.  In her free time, Imari enjoys music, animals and reading.

Suzanne – Treatment Coordinator

Suzanne started her dental career working with an oral surgeon in 2015. Joining our office in 2022, she is excited to expand her knowledge of general dentistry and form lasting connections with our patients.   Suzanne and her husband have a grown daughter and son.  She loves to travel, read, cook, walk the beach looking for glass and especially spend time with family and friends.

Hannah R – Dental Assistant

Hannah has been working in dentistry as a dental assistant since 2009 and became an expanded functions dental assistant in 2019. Her favorite part about working in the dental field is being able to contribute to patients having a positive experience.

In her free time, Hannah loves going to concerts, reading and hanging out with her cats, Penny and Sheldon.

Ashley – Lab Technician

Ashley has approximately 10 years of dental assisting experience in general dentistry, orthodontics and oral surgery. He is also an accomplished artist, trained in traditional mediums such as oil painting, water color, pastel, sculpting and pencil. It’s this perfect mix of artistry and dental understanding that enables him to create beautiful and custom dental appliances such as dentures, partials and implant crowns.

Ashley enjoys exercising, taking hikes and drawing in his free time.


Alissa – Dental Assistant

Alissa graduated as salutatorian of New Prairie High School in 2023 and is currently enrolled full time at Indiana University South Bend studying biochemistry. After receiving her bachelor’s degree, Alissa plans to attend dental school. When she isn’t at work or school, she enjoys baking and spending time with her two dogs.

Brittney – Dental Hygienist, RDH.

Brittney has been in the dental field for over 17 years. She started as a certified expanded functions dental assistant in 2006 before continuing her education and graduating dental hygiene school in 2015.

Brittney is passionate about her job and enjoys the opportunity to meet new people every day. When she has free time you can usually find her swinging at the park with her daughter and Service Dog Blazey or at the pool supporting her son at his swim meets.

Crystal – Dental Assistant

Crystal began her career in dentistry six years ago as a dental receptionist. Within months, she transitioned to dental assisting and has never looked back. In addition to her experience in General Dentistry, Crystal worked as a dental assistant for a Periodontist for two years, and as the Lead Surgical Assistant in an Oral Surgery office for four years. Crystal’s curiosity, dedication to learning and skill development, compassion and sense of humor make her a confident, knowledgeable Dental Assistant who puts her patients at ease.

When Crystal is not at work, she and her husband enjoy movie nights and finding great hiking spots with their three children.

Monica – Scheduling/Treatment Coordinator

Monica joined Restore Dental Arts in 2023. She brings 7 years of experience in the dental industry to our office, as well as fluency in Spanish – an asset to all of our bilingual patients! She also has previous experience in the healthcare environment. Monica enjoys interacting with patients and seeing a happy smile.

Monica comes from a large and close family. She and her daughter stay active with various sports, including softball, track and gymnastics. They also enjoy traveling and spending quality time together.

Andrea – Dental Assistant

Andrea has been in the dental field since 2022. She began working as a dental assistant in 2023. Andrea is currently attending Indiana University to become a dental hygienist. Andrea enjoys helping her patients have a comfortable and positive experience.

In her free time, Andrea enjoys spending time with friends and family. She enjoys watching and playing sports and spending time outside.

Jodi – Dental Assistant

Jodi started her career in the dental field in 2022 eager to learn new things. With that came the realization of how rewarding the dental field is. Jodi enjoys spending time with patients and making them feel comfortable in the chair. She wants patients to see that the dentist isn’t as scary as they may think.

In her free time away from work Jodi enjoys spending time with her fur babies at home and being outdoors.
