Full-Arch Dental Implants: What to Expect from The Onyx Solution

by | Oct 19, 2026 | Dental Implants

Replacing a full arch of teeth is a big decision.  Patients who are living with failing or missing teeth, or patients struggling with dentures often wonder about the same things before they start: what does the process involve, what is included, and how many visits does it take?

At Restore Dental Arts, The Onyx Solution is our answer to full-arch implant dentistry.  It brings planning, surgery, sedation, and the final restoration together in one package, and your care is delivered by one team.

One Package, Planned Around You

The Onyx Solution is an all-inclusive approach to replacing one or both arches of teeth. Each package includes the following:

  • On-site IV sedation
  • Four to six titanium implants and abutments per arch
  • A temporary healing appliance
  • A custom zirconia final arch
  • A water flosser and nightguard to protect your new smile
  • StellaLife rinse to support healing

Diagnostic scans and records, surgical guides, consultations, smile design, and post-op visits are complimentary. Depending on the patient’s health and anatomy, extractions or bone grafting may also be needed. Our team will discuss these openly with you before treatment begins.

Four Steps from First Visit to Final Smile

While every case is unique, most patients move through the same four stages with The Onyx Solution.

  1. Digital Records – Your first visit includes CT imaging, a facial scan, and an intraoral scan. These give our doctors a detailed picture of your bone, bite, and facial features. You leave knowing what to expect with no pressure to commit.
  2. Planning and Smile Design – Our team uses 3D treatment planning and 3D-printed surgical guides to map where each implant will go. You get to see a preview of your new smile and have a say in its shape and shade before any procedures begin.
  3. Guided Surgery with IV Sedation – Your implants are placed in our Michigan City office while you rest comfortably under IV sedation. Most patients remember little of the procedures, and you go home with a temporary set of teeth in place. This allows you to smile and eat while you heal. You will want to plan to bring a driver with you for this visit.
  4. Your Final Zirconia Arch – After healing, we seat your custom zirconia arch. Zirconia is a strong, tooth-colored material designed to look natural and hold up to everyday chewing

Why Under One Roof Matters

Full-arch treatment depends on careful coordination between implant placement, bite, fit, and final restoration. When these steps are split between different offices and providers, details can get lost along the way.

With The Onyx Solution, your appointments, surgery, sedation, and follow-up care all happen at our office. Our doctors work side by side with our in-house dental lab throughout the process. This gives our team a direct line of communication from planning through the final arch, so adjustments can be discussed and refined without waiting on an outside lab.

Is The Onyx Solution Right for You?

If you are one of the many adults with missing or failing teeth, or dentures that no longer fit well, then you may be a candidate for full-arch implants. Because implants anchor your new teeth in place, they can offer more stability, stronger chewing, and a more natural feel than traditional dentures.

Flexible financing is available through Cherry, CareCredit, and Proceed Finance, and our implant coordinators can help you find a payment approach that works best for you.

A Smile Built to Last

Our goal is to restore more than teeth. We want to restore your ability to eat, speak, and smile with confidence again, all with a smile designed to serve you for years to come. If you are ready to explore your options, contact our team to schedule your first visit.
